Pixies nursery has been wonderful for our son's development and he has been so happy there. Our son has been going to Pixie's for 1 year, 4 days a week. We moved him from a larger nursery that he was previously attending because he was struggling to come out of his shell in the larger group setting. Pixies nursery has completely transformed him. He was given the encouragement and support he needed to get involved with group activities, and gain confidence to communicate both with staff and the other children. Pixies' is like a family and each member of staff works hard to give each child the kind of support and encouragement that they need to develop and feel included, stimulated, engaged and cared for. Our son loves going to Pixies, he talks about what he gets up to, about his experiences and about the staff and other children in a very positive and enthusiastic way. The levels of education and learnings that Pixies provides is a great balance with the fun play times in the house, the lovely garden they have and even their own soft play room in the rear of the garden. Pixies is a little haven in which we have observed our son grow in so many ways, and we are extremely grateful to Maria and all of the wonderful staff. We could not speak more highly of Pixies and would recommend it to the highest degree!

Pixies isn’t just a childminders - it’s really a small but perfectly formed nursery! Maria, Ang and their team work tirelessly to give the children in their care a lovely experience. They care deeply about the children that come to Pixies, and are hugely supportive to parents. The facilities they provide are excellent, including a lovely soft play area, a custom built area for nappy changing, plenty of space for playing, a great selection of toys and games including a lovely safe garden. They feedback over the day with pictures and messages as well as using an online portal for overall feedback at the end of a day. They work hard to engage the kids in arts and crafts, as well as working with them on literacy and numeracy, with lots of story times and fun activities. As well as all that they also have Hartbeeps come in weekly for classes AND go on the occasional trip out too! I couldn’t have been happier with the standard of care, food, cleanliness and overall experience of sending my boys to Pixies.
All in all it’s highly recommended to any parents who want a safe and nurturing environment for their little ones.

My twins have been attending Pixies for the past 10 weeks. They are super excited in the mornings to get to the setting. Maria and her team are amazing. They look after the twins as they were their own, have heartbeats once a week which the kids love and have a soft play facility in the setting. We get a face to face update when we pick them up, photos from activities over the course of the day on whatsapp and a full detailed report on Kinderly at the end of each day. You can see a lot of thought has gone into the setting!

Both of our sons attend Pixies 3x a week. Maria and Ang and amazingly welcoming and warm to all the children. My kids never had any trouble settling in and being in a small, family-orientated setting with kids of all ages (until school) really helps. Ria always thinks of fun and structured play throughout the day and the soft play they built in the back is a hidden gem! As is the nursery ☺️

Our son Cameron attended pixies from just before his 2nd birthday. Straight away Cameron settled in and created an amazing bond with Maria and Ang. We felt so comfortable leaving him in their home and we know that Cameron was comfortable and enjoying himself too. The communication we received throughout the day was amazing. Cameron’s speech developed so well and he was so advanced with his speaking after just a few months at pixies.
The setup that Maria and Ang have is perfect. It has everything you would expect from a nursery/daycare plus more. We really felt like Maria and Ang became a part of our family and Cameron still speaks about them all the time now.
We will never forget the time Cameron spent at pixies, it was very special to us and him. Thanks!

Reuben has attended Pixies for coming up to two years this summer. He arrived shortly before his 2nd birthday, and was the first attendee.
The care and attention Reuben has and continues to receive at Pixies is absolutely first rate. Maria and her assistants are incredibly attentive and caring and we have no doubt that Reuben feels secure and confident in their care and the general surroundings.
We are particularly impressed by the efforts that are made each day to provide activities that assist with his educational, physical and emotional development. It is fair to say that no two days are the same at Pixies (which we know from his diary and also discussions with him in the evening) and Reuben enjoys each day there, demonstrated by his enthusiasm to go each morning. We are pleased that activities appear to be targeted to the individual child's needs (e.g. Reuben is working on number and letter recognition, as well as using a pincer grip, which are clearly important things for his age, but not so for other younger children there). Activities are also seasonally focused (Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.) which also help with his understanding of the wider world around him. We have also been very pleased to learn that extra activities have recently been arranged around caring for siblings, to coincide with the arrival of Reuben's baby brother in the last few months.
The Pixies facilities are also excellent - the mixture of indoor areas and a garden means the children have a variety during the day, even when trips to the local wetlands are not possible (which are great too). The food menu is also varied and of high quality.
In summary, we couldn't be happier that Reuben is able to attend Pixies.

I chose Pixies Childcare from personal recommendations and after visiting Pixies with Leonidas I knew this was where I wanted him to be.
Maria has a really lovely manner with all the children in her care.
Maria and Angelo always seem kind, calm and patient with them and all the children are happy and well behaved and know what’s expected of them.
Since Leonidas has been going to Pixies I’m reassured daily that I made the right choice. Especially as we receive pictures throughout the day showing what Leonidas is up to and his food always looks fresh and tasty.
I’ve been very impressed by the variety of toys and daily activities. Leonidas has progressed so much since being in the care of Pixies and they take time to learn each child and will do their upmost to make sure both child and parents are happy within their care.
While Leonidas is pleased to see me at the end of the day he is never desperate to go home and is always smiling.
The children all seem happy and I am always very comfortable to ask questions about Leonidas and his day which is usually spoken about freely.
Leonidas is so happy at Pixies (as am I) and really loves both Maria and Angelo.

Our son Luke has been with Pixies childcare now for just over a year and we are very happy with the standard of support that he is receiving in his development. We find the setup to be of high quality, creating a very stimulating environment that aids the children's development. Maria and Angelo are dedicated to the development of the children. One area that Luke has especially progressed in is his language skills. On a personal level we can tell that Luke is well taken care of and loved. They take the welfare of the children very seriously, and if there are any concerns they are quick to make contact. We particularly enjoy the fact that they keep us updated throughout the day about what Luke is up to.

Pixies create a very warm and welcoming environment for Finn and Erin, who are very happy and look forward to the time they spend there. Maria and Ang are very willing to focus on and develop areas that the children display specific interests in and set up activities that the children enjoy engaging in that are a helping them learn new skills or reinforce already learned skills. Pixies listen and respond to feedback and information we give them about the children which is important to their development and wellbeing.

Our son Reuben (23 months) has been with Maria and Ang at Pixies for over 4 weeks now, and we couldn't be happier with how it is going. The set up is fantastic with their newly built cabin - with story area, play area, sleeping area and changing/toilet area situated in the back garden. There are plenty of toys and games and books, and I have to drag him out at the end of the day!! There is also a lovely garden to play and learn in, as well as a clean kitchen where Reuben has his tasty looking meals. Maria is doing lots of fun activities with him, as well as taking him out and about - to the park/soft play/music classes. She's also listened to us when we've asked for small details to be changed, and keeps in regular contact throughout the day on whatsapp with pictures and messages, and keeps a daily diary to show his activities and progress. The whole thing has been set up with real care and attention to detail, and Maria creates a warm and friendly environment which Reuben is thriving in.
