Transporting children in a vehicle
​

My vehicle is regularly serviced and is fully MOT’d . It is fully insured for carrying the children in my care.  My vehicle will always have sufficient fuel for the journey needed.

Before any journey the vehicle would be checked for tyre pressure and correct levels.

All children will be fully strapped in into updated car seats specifically for their age.

I am a member of breakdown recovery service if needed.

Outdoor Play
​

The children in my care will get outdoor play everyday, unless the weather conditions are too bad as I see fit. When playing outdoors they will always be supervised. The garden area is completely secure. The entrance gate will have the door jammer in place during this time.

The children will be dressed according to the weather conditions. If it is sunny I will apply cream as needed.

Observations
​

We carry out daily observations for the children in my care. We have a daily diary, which is filled in every day summarising the days events and includes sleep times and nappy changes.

​

When your child starts with us they will start a settling in period. When this period is completed we will write a report.

If your child joins us before the age of two, we would complete a “Two Year Check”. This generally would be completed by 30 months.
